So this last month, the month of May was the the opening for the Atlanta Homes & Lifestyle Designer Showhouse Spring 2026 and we were asked at the last minute to supply a pair of shutters in their original state but without any paint, These are original 19th century French shutters that we had to shrink. So we took the top rail and brought it down and supplied hinges, etc,

They were collected and installed just in time for the opening of the showhouse. And lo and behold, when we went to see the show house, we climbed the stairs to the spare bedroom where we discovered the shutters , now with pleated fabric panels, hiding the built in closet. I thought it rather made the room . Good contrast !
