We are one of the few full-service architectural antique stores in the world. We process all of our inventory through our in-house glass studio, strip shop, wood shop, and refinishing shop before it is exhibited in the showroom. Learn more about our services below.
Door Restoration, Finishing, and Hanging
We restore our antique exterior and interior doors for robust use and longevity, so we strip them to their natural wood and perform delicate structural joinery repairs. We also provide finishes and install corresponding hardware to meet the specific needs of a project.
Metalwork Finishing
We offer structural repairs for metalwork and apply finishes. Our in-house blacksmith fixes damaged iron, nickel, brass, copper, aluminum, brass and bronze. We enhance the restored pieces per client request with a variety of finishes including: polished nickel, chrome, gold and silver plate, oil rubbed bronze, verdi-green.
Antique Locks and Keys
We have a vast inventory of antique locks and parts and can generally return any lock to working order. In addition to new lock and key sets, we also have a great number of antique blanks that allows us to fabricate keys for any lock.
Light restoration
We rekindle the beauty of antique light fixtures and apply rustic finishes to reproductions. Our craftsmen command expertise in handling crystal, wood, iron, copper and brass. Our restored light fixtures are UL listed.
Decorative hardware
In addition to our unique collection of antique hardware, we represent a number of high-end International and American decorative hardware companies. We offer consultation, hardware scheduling and customization services.
Residential design
Specializing in traditional building methods, we offer creative and technical consultation services for residential, commercial, and landscape projects. We work with clients to integrate our pieces into their projects, and also undertake complete projects drafting from the drafting, through construction. Door stripping
We hand-strip all the wood and ironwork before offering it for sale, we also offer these services to the general public.
Stained glass repair
Our in-house glass shop can tackle any technique: slumped glass for lanterns, stained glass matching and repair, and bespoke windows with hand-painted, fired and leaded glass.
Smithing
We are lucky enough to work with a number of skilled blacksmiths that enable us to design and provide custom grills, railings and hardware to order.
World-wide shipping
We work closely with a number of companies that offer a highly customizable, white glove packaging service at competitive prices. Including special handling for over-sized items and door-to-door shipping by air, land and sea.
